The Gae Bolg was a Holy Weapon featured in FE4 exclusively reserved for those with Major Noba Holy Blood(It should be duly noted that Aaron never has given defining evidence as to how he has Major Noba Holy Blood besides having a ancestor who lived on a farm.) In the plot of FE4, its wielder: Quan gets killed in a bloody ambush by his rival King Trabant. It is also a weapon in Irish Mythology.
Heyday[]
The Gae Bolg had particularly prominent use in the Por Madeira arc where it served all of Azerouses purposes but with a potentially funnier name. Around this time its infamous nickname, the Gay Bulge had synthesized itself into existence. The Gae Bolg was also a reflection of the fact that Aarons clan at the time was named New Thracia. Aaron occasionally wields Gae Bolg in the early forums too in the same vein as Azerous.
Ultimate Decline[]
Aaron, after realizing he has no holy blood and after being brought up to the existence of Azerous slowly but steadily drops the Gae Bolg as its weapon of choice. While Aaron may have been saved from a weapon with a potentially funny nickname it was quickly discovered that the Azerous was a much more infamous meme proving that once again, Aaron never wins.
Legacy[]
The Gae Bolgs legacy arguably lives on in Aarons now dead forum, New Thracia. Aaron also makes occasional passing mentions of the weapon fondly regarding it as integral to his life. Besides that, Aarons Northern Thracian, "patriotism" still occasionally shows itself when the topic of Fire Emblem 4 is brought up. Though in the end the Gae Bolg will be best known for being the original Azerous.
